Lucid dreaming is the experience of achieving conscious awareness of dreaming while still asleep. A study was published in the peer reviewed PubMed journal showed that lucid dreaming has unusual measurable changes in electrophysiology.
The brainwave activity throughout the 20 participants demonstrated that lucid dreaming constitutes a hybrid state of consciousness with definable and measurable differences from waking and from REM sleep. In other words, you aren’t awake, but you aren’t asleep either. The brain experiences REM-like posterior waves while the frontal cortex activity is similar to that of waking state consciousness. This hybrid state of brain activity allows us to be conscious within the dream, and control and manipulate the environment within the dream. Lucid dreaming also leads to many instances of astral projection and out-of-body experiences.
Before you go to bed at night, repeat this to yourself: “I will remember to recognize that I’m dreaming”. Fall asleep repeating this in your head, and this awareness will subconsciously carry into your dreams. Know that in your dream, you will remember that you are dreaming. Do something in your dream just to test which reality you are existing in, and once you become lucid, the realm is yours to explore.
There is an awesome program designed to make you a master at lucid dreaming and astral projection containing 6 informative ebooks on these topics and includes techniques, benefits, tips, and guidelines, as well as audio files and tons of bonus material. There is also information and audio files of binaural sound frequencies and how we can use these to explore our minds. This program is accessible and effective.
I am using this program and am looking forward to taking advantage of my sleep hours to explore other realms and further my growth. Anyone can have these experiences, and they can change your life.
