Talking ‘bout good vibrations!

Know that song? Good, now let us ask you- how often do you actually manage to get away from negative vibes and dedicate your time to something more fruitful?

As people, we tend to fall into situations which, honestly, have nothing to do with us. Bad vibes can be found at any corner, and if you have the will to put up with them, they will soon overwhelm your mind, body, and soul. However, the proper thing to do here is to try and eliminate as much of this extra pressure as you can.

Basically, we already live in a stressful and demanding society. From our work to our home life and our group of friends, we can encounter anxiety and negative energy everywhere. Still, more often than not, half of this negative influence has nothing to with you as a person.

This means that at times, you are deliberately and unwarily exposed to negative energies, which are acting as a toxin to your body and mind. By subjecting yourself to negativity, you allow bad thoughts to enter your brain, sending signals which result in moodiness, tenacity and even depression.

It cannot be emphasized enough just how important it is for each person to try and remove all negative vibes from their everyday routine, and we would like to teach you how to do it.

Before we begin, it is important that you understand that negativity is not an eradicable occurrence, and there will be times when negative buzzing will be unavoidable. But, what you are essentially taught here to do, is how to find a way to stay away from frustrations and unbeneficial surroundings.

Have a look:

1. Take a much-deserved break

As much as you love doing something or hate doing something, know that your body, your brain, and your organism need to take a break. In fact, by steering clear from your schedule for a bit can help you regain your self-confidence and self-assurance, meaning you will be more able to get through your day without attracting negative energy. Also, keeping your focus on things you need to do, instead of on the Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda thoughts, can bring you a piece of mind and a more favorable energy to use while working.

2) Napping is important

As much as we hate to admit it, napping plays a huge role in a person’s health state. Napping allows the brain to reboot, regenerate and restart itself, giving you a new perspective once your nap is done. We all know examples of people feeling recharged after a solid nap, and this is one fine example to follow! Whether you are feeling stressed, anxious or downright defeated and tired, napping can work its magic into your everyday routine and bring you numerous benefits. Make sure to commit to your nap and stop overthinking things before going to sleep. In such case, a meditation or a breathing technique can help you regain your strength, thus eliminating negativity for good.

3) Learn to meditate

Meditation is a great mediator when stress feels a bit too much. In fact, meditation allows you to create your own safe and clean environment, thus cleansing your body from negative impacts. All you need to meditate is a safe or pleasant surrounding and just 10-15 minutes of your time.
If you are not keen on meditating the traditional way, you can always use mala necklaces or bracelets, as well as aromatic candles and comfortable music to relax your mind. The goal of meditation is to let your thoughts run wild until they finally quiet down. Try to practice this as much as possible, and especially if you are feeling a captive of negative energy.

4. Think about the things and people you love

Nothing can make you feel better, or eradicate all negativity than the people and things you care about. From your family and friends to your colleagues, work, and pet, anything can do the trick! Thinking about how far you have come and how you have grown can help you regain the strength to establish a healthy and positive mindset to help you overcome every hurdle on your way.
If you have children, this can be a great method to eliminate stress. Think about their unconditional love. Also, think about your living grandparents, who allowed you to have this life and be happy. Move on to your parents, who unselfishly sacrificed everything to make you feel more fulfilled. If you love your job, get excited about your next project, or think about an upcoming vacation you’ve been waiting for. The possibilities are endless, so let your thoughts to the most serene places and people you know. And you know what? Just like that, all stress and negativity will be gone!

5. Driving helps

Driving around your neighborhood or to a nearby destination you love can be significant for your wellbeing and positive attitude. By physically staying away from all negativity you are healing emotionally from the impact.

Mobility is great because when you increase the pace or walking or driving, you increase your brain’s work and you will be able to eliminate all negativity while making room for positivity at the same time. Let’s be honest, you need ‘Me’ time, but have you really given yourself that?

It is your time to shine and be happy, so go for it!
